    In deciding what deserves attention, distraction poses a threat. Cherished deviances: Distraction and other romances invites five artists to explore distraction through four themes: distraction as bliss; productivity; resistance; and as an aesthetic. Together, they ask, what if distraction was retrieved from the pejorative and reunited with creativity?
